DGI provided operation and security support at the DSO Annapolis site, a secure facility occupied by approximately 200 military, DoD civilians, and contractors. The administrative facility has an emergency generator; separate HVAC systems for each floor including a boiler and chillers; three maintenance rooms; a computer room; and roughly 140 office spaces. DGI maintained internal mechanical systems such as the boiler and chillers, and associated building automation, life safety, plumbing, and electrical systems. DGI’s role on this contract included providing DSO with facilities maintenance services, including 24/7 physical security; telecommunications support; property support; custodial and grounds maintenance; movement of furniture and equipment; and maintenance of the DSO facility. Using ID/IQ task orders, DSO tasked us to provide design/build services on the renovation/replacement of building systems such as security, roofing, and cooling system upgrades at the facility in compliance with relevant Tri-Services Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications. All DGI DSO maintenance staff maintained SECRET clearances at a minimum at this site.
